An archive of the recorded past

Every era, one archive.

Centuries of scholarship, arranged by era, region and theme — written plainly, cited properly, and free to read.

Our Mission

Why We Built This Archive

History is often locked behind paywalls, scattered across inconsistent sources, or simplified past the point of usefulness. Historia Info exists to change that: clear, well-sourced writing on every era, free to read, organized so the connections between periods and regions are easy to follow.

We’re not trying to replace scholarship — we’re trying to make it legible to anyone who’s curious.

Editorial Standards

Every article on this site follows the same process before it's published.

Primary-Source Research

Articles are built from primary sources and established scholarship, not summaries of summaries.

Fact-Checked

Dates, names, and claims are cross-checked against multiple sources before anything is published.

Fully Cited

Sources are named in the text so you can verify anything yourself, not just trust our word for it.

Kept Up to Date

Articles are revisited and corrected as new scholarship or sources come to light.
